The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has carried out quick handling to reduce inundation as high as 10 centimeters that occurred on Pramuka Island, RT 03/05, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Island Sub-district.
Panggang Island Urban Village Acting Head, Iskandar said inundation came out due to clogged water channel and heavy rain last night.
Inundation in Kebun Jeruk Has Started to Recede"We have cleaned the channel and drainage control thus water starts to recede," he expressed, Tuesday (5/18).
He added that this action involved as many as eight personnel.
"Now residents are able to cross again and have their activities through the ring road on the south side which was inundated," he stated.
